The parent decision journey

Academic excellence and a spiritual foundation, both at once.

Christian school websites must serve a dual purpose: demonstrating academic excellence while communicating the spiritual foundation that sets faith-based education apart from secular alternatives.

  1. Interest: A static hero with the tour scheduling form on it, in place of the rotating banner.
  2. Trust: 32+ years of excellence and accreditation moved to the hero, where a parent sees them first.
  3. Faith: Proverbs 22:6 featured prominently, and value propositions centred on spiritual development.
  4. Proof: Christian family testimonials with authentic photography.
  5. Enrollment: Prominent phone numbers and multiple conversion touchpoints, with a form that progresses logically.

The challenge

A maze of scattered information between families and enrollment.

No way in above the fold

Parents couldn’t immediately find how to schedule tours or begin enrollment, and critical information was buried deep within the page structure, forcing endless scrolling.

A generic hero

A rotating banner with no compelling value proposition, failing to communicate the school’s Christian education excellence or provide any immediate pathway for parent engagement.

Overload without hierarchy

Multiple small content blocks created decision paralysis, with no clear path guiding parents through their decision journey and credibility indicators relegated to the footer.

Navigation confusion, and a broken phone experience

Too many menu options without precise parent journey mapping. On smaller screens, a poor responsive design made form completion nearly impossible and important information completely inaccessible.

Our strategic solution

Reimagined around the parent decision journey.

The new information architecture guides parents through a logical progression from initial interest to enrollment commitment, with biblical messaging reinforcing the spiritual mission while appealing to families seeking Christ-centered education.
